Supporting university degrees and specialisms in ground engineering
The Ground Forum wants to ensure that the full range of geotechnical engineering specialisms are available to graduates and post graduates for study. Our interest also extends to the sources of funding to support these specialisms
Earlier in 2016 the Ground Forum successfully lobbied with other industry voices for the continuation of Birmingham University’s Hydrology degree programme. We also welcomed the Government’s extension of the Student Loans Scheme to fund Geotechnical MSc programmes.
