Crossrail: Specialist Foundation Construction Lessons Learnt Conference is a one day event taking place in London’s Living Room, City Hall on Tuesday 10th November 2015. Jointly hosted by Crossrail and the Federation of Piling Specialists, this invitation only conference focuses on the knowledge gained during the installation of deep foundation elements and other specialist foundation techniques.

Delegates will attend from the client organisation Crossrail, its foundation consultants and contractors, major infrastructure providers and member companies from the Federation of Piling Specialists.

The event will focus on the following four themes:

* Details of foundation construction and specialist methods at the portal, station and shaft locations along the route as a historical record

* Specifications, technical standards (including Eurocodes) and issues arising during their implementation

* Innovative methods and equipment solutions

* Monitoring results, performance and foundation related research
